The Stepping Stone Community project was a multifaceted initiative that encompassed the installation and ongoing maintenance of expansive open spaces, interconnected trail systems, and thoughtfully designed community parks. These outdoor amenities were carefully planned to encourage an active lifestyle while fostering a strong sense of community. The trail systems provide seamless connectivity between different areas of the neighborhood, promoting exploration and outdoor recreation. Meanwhile, the community parks offer residents inviting spaces to gather, play, and relax. Through meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of these outdoor spaces, we have helped create an environment that enhances the overall quality of life for Stepping Stone residents.
A highlight of this project was Sunburst Park, a distinctive and complex centerpiece within the community. Its innovative design featured unique elements such as underground tunnels and a pedestrian bridge, which required careful planning and precise execution. Through seamless collaboration with the landscape architect and the client, our team navigated numerous field adjustments and overcame challenges to ensure that the vision for Sunburst Park was brought to life.
The common areas and parks, including Sunburst Park, were successfully completed and turned over to the community in 2018. Since then, these outdoor spaces have continued to serve as a hub for recreation and relaxation, enriching the Stepping Stone community’s connection to nature and fostering a thriving, outdoor-oriented lifestyle.
